No matter how you slice it, Auburn should not be expected to play that brutal of a schedule, to end the year, with the way college football has changed since the inception of the playoff system. Other people obviously felt this way too.

That is after playing LSU, A&M, MSU, ARK and Ole Miss. Everyone wants to know why UGA Fans are so upset by this move, just look at the physical style of all those teams. In the meantime UGA has played Vandy, UT, UK, Mizzu, USC and FL. Things are finally changing in the SECE, but the last 10 years this was like an ACC Schedule.

UGA has had a pass with the condition of the SECE the last 10 years and they have 1 SECC to show for it. I would call them the Va Tech of the SECE. Has tech won two ACC Championships and and winning a NC in the last 10 years. [u]You can not even say that UGA is the Auburn of the East based on that[/u].

Nothing about losing to Clemson and Florida State correlates to an “ACC” schedule, especially when 2 of said losses were to the eventual National Champions (2013 FSU, 2016 Clemson).
Clemson is arguably the #1 program in America right now, possibly #2 behind Alabama, and they have continually built since 2010 following their loss to Auburn.
