Arkansas last conference title 1994
Arkansas last conference tournament title 2000
Arkansas last sweet sixteen 1996 (destroyed by coach cal Umass team in Atlanta)

Currently 14-11 with a coach who seems to have tenure even though it’s year 8 with only 3 trips to the tournament. Meanwhile, auburn is auburn. If the hogs beat them Wednesday we will be tied in the sec standings at 6-7.

Both bad, but I would say Arkansas. Arkansas is supposed to be a Basketball power and AU has always been considered a shite program.

Auburn has been a dumpster fire in regards to how they thought this season would play out.

Arkansas has been a dumpster fire in terms of how they thought this Century would play out.

In the end it is all about making the Big Dance. The regular season means nothing after selection Sunday.

5 days after this post, Auburn suffered their last loss, ripping off 13 straight wins including over 5 ranked foes - a #1 seed, a #2 seed, a #5 seed, an eventual #2 seed (Tennessee - twice). Also a #10 seed (Florida), a #12 seed (New Mexico State), another #5 seed (Miss State).

An SEC Tournament title
A Final Four appearance

Considering how rough their SEC start was, this is that much more of an impressive run.
