Just hypothetically.

We have one bucket in 10 minutes of play. One field goal in 25% of the game.

You has to support team or recruits have not interest. Do you know team lost best player before season? This is Cuonzos plan. Steady progress he will wins.

It’s not all talent.
I saw his teams at Tennessee. Sell that shite somewhere they don’t know anything.

Geist is the best playmaker on the team and they get nothing from the 4 spot. Talent is a huge factor on the offense. Defense still isn’t up to Cuonzo standards yet either.

And that doesn’t significantly change next year.

Maybe. Who knows how good Jackson will be. It’s unlikely that he’s better than Puryear his freshman season. Need to add more help, though not sure if there’s really anyone available that will help next season.

This team no, but if you look at the players Mizzou is recruiting. Yea those players will be able to run.

I agree we have somewhat of a talent deficiency and we have lost our best player 2 years in a row however look at Iowa’s roster and tell me they have significantly more “athleticism” or “talent”. The offense is just plain simple and rarely is it anything other than perimeter passing with a high ball screen.

Mizzou beat Iowa in a secret exhibition game before the season started.

Was that with Jontay playing? Have they improved to top 20 team with a bunch of Iowans playing good solid basketball while we struggle to score 55 points per game? I like CM but am disappointed in our season regardless of losing Jontay.

Offense has always been a problem with Zo. You’d figure for a team that struggles so much in the half court we would try to run the floor more

Issue is Mizzou gets nothing from the 4.

Add in 10-15 a game from Jontay instead of a goose egg from Santos every night and Mizzou is probably .500 in conference.

The only way I see So’s system working at a high level is for the team to be full of really good athletes that can turn defense into offense because the half court offense is lacking to say the least
