After watching highlights of both I'm convinced that Plumlee is a much better QB. Plumlee looks like the better passer and the better runner. Malzahn is trying to get Plumlee. He would be dangerous playing for Auburn so I hope he stays in Mississippi..

You seem to be forgetting Stetson Bennett IV aka the next Baker Mayfield.

Mathis has the bigger upside in my opinion.

I agree with you on this. After watching highlights between the two, I don't like how Mathis goes out of pocket and throws from the sideline and he's not that good of a scrambler either. Of course, most QBs aren't fast in the run. Plumlee on the other hand looked like he feels comfortable and confident with the defense barreling down at him and he's got good speed with his run.

However, being that, UGA asked Plumlee to blue shirt and we've got Mathis and Stetson coming in next season so I don't see Plumlee coming to UGA. And I don't want to see him with Auburn either.

My question is with Fromm as the QB starter, who do you guys think will end up being the backup next season? Stetson or Mathis? I'm thinking Stetson because he already knows our playbook.

I personally don’t think Mathis will ever start for Georgia. I don’t think Fromm’s heir is enrolled or even a senior in high school. I see Mathis transferring once he backs up a, hopefully 5*, freshman
