Well yes, if the biblical account is accurate Sara is responsible for the division in the middle east, creation of islam, etc. by first thinking hagar would be the way for Abraham to have a child, then reneging on that after having Isaac and forcing Ishmael and Hagar out. Understandably Ishmael's people did not view Sara's descendants as friends

I do not know the specific reason for the curse of Ham. It is associated with the drunk/naked Noah scene, but I suspect the curse has more to do with his actions after seeing Noah rather than just seeing him.
