I'm not sure the percentage but it was the worst coached game of Saban's tenure at Alabama. Taking 3 TOs to the Locker Room before the half set the tone for the second half. It was effectively waving the white flag.

But there's a long list of coaching mistakes.
- Putting D. Harris in at the goal line instead of Jacobs
- Fake FG
- Redzone playcalling
- 3rd & 4th Down Playcalling
- Not working any ref to get a call

Saban looked shellshocked last night.

Clemson was old us. Ruthlessly exploiting the other team, making every big play, attacking for 60 minutes, not giving an inch.

Yea that sucked.

I don't understand why we didn't get any pressure on TL. That guy can't beat you with his legs and he can be rattled. Q had an OK game but where the frick was the rest of the Front 7?

I would have to agree with this point of Saban seeming detached sat night. Maybe he realized we were not prepared properly for the game and now it was too late to do much about it. I never saw Saban get angry or upset when every Alabama fan in the stadium was distraught and mad.
Hardly saw him in offensive or defensive huddles or even trying to exhort his players. Was wondering "why the indifference?". Never could figure it out.
He said he was just trying to think how he could best help the team. Guess he never got the answer

I certainly don't mean to imply that he didn't care about the game but it was just my impression from watching him on the sidelines during timeouts and commercial breaks.

By the way I place 100% of the blame on coaches. Our players have talent whatever they did not do yesterday was because the coaches failed to extract it out of them.

I couldn't believe Saban didn't go ape shite when his receiver got absolutely mugged...i think the score was 31-16 at the time and Bama was deep in clemson territory.....to me that's when all the air was lost!
