Worst DC at Bama under Saban. Sure, good recruiter, but it doesn’t matter how good you recruit if you can’t coach in the games.

It’s his fault that we haven’t developed any young outside linebackers to step in. Lack of pass rush doomed Bama tonight. This defense has been subpar this season.

name one good pass rusher. throw in a rookie secondary with average linebackers and vince lombardi couldn’t do any better.

Yep, he’s not cutting it. We owe it to the talent on this roster to put them in the best position to win. Tosh can’t do it. We look perpetually confused, yet still predictable, and good to elite QBs can pick us apart with ease.

I think that Saban was pressured to promote and keep Tosh because of how well that Kirby is recruiting at UGA.
Tosh and some of the other defensive coaches are obviously over their head.
Hopefully Saban will take over more of the defense next year while Tosh learns.

When your def gets abused on the same scheme first the first game to the last that is on the DC. Great recruiter horrible DC. This has to be the worst OC/DC combo saban has every had and I wont miss locklsey 1 bit. I wish would would pay HC for a good DC and keep him for a couple years.

I agree. People can say oh players going to the NFL early is catching up with us blah blah blah. The truth is we recruit at an elite level and our talent level has not changed. Our play on defense has dropped dramatically this year

I agree with half of that comment. Locksley brought us to new heights on offense and I'm thankful for what he did for Bama and how grateful he is for what bama did for him.

The defense didn't play great but no other part of this team helped them out at all.. Clemson are pretty damn good dude

Regarding Locksley: Saban does need to learn to let coaches go that take other jobs. I know it has worked out ok here and there in the past, but most in spite of that coach staying on.
I have never seen a more unprepared team and I think that is why Saban isn't even mad.

I think the defense regressed over the season. Surtain has regressed, Thompson has basically played his way out of the first two rounds and mack and Moses are just as lost as they were on the first day. That and the lack of discipline is all coaching.
