guess we don't have to be worried about being called a basketball school anytime soon..

I think most on here knew Crean was going to have a tough first year. I liken his job to Georgia Tech's next football HC.

He basically has to tear down the old system before he can start on the new one. And it's guaranteed to be a bit painful, especially at the beginning.

happy?..I don't care one way or the other, but losing by 46 is hard to spin an any way positive.

Crean is doing a good job. It’s just going to take more time as it did with a Mark Fox. Crean has us with a legit shot at one of the top Guards in the country. If Crean can close the deal and get him, this should greatly speed things up. We also need another big and Crean has a top 50 kid signed.

I think it is ESPN has him ranked as 14 best overall in the country. They are the only service hay has him ranked those high. Most everybody else is 40-60. It’s just about closing on these top tier recruits. If we do that, we will rise much faster.

Yep, the main problem that I(and my Georgia fans) had with Fox was his lack of recruiting. Crean already has a 4* SF(60 overall) committed from Alabama, and according to 247s all time list, he is the 5th best recruit in program history(Lou Williams, KCP, Mike Mercer, Hammonds). If Georgia can add Christian Brown then this might be the best class in program history.
