While they are inexcusable...playing the tough conference means showing up with a A effort 6-8 weeks a season. The Big12, Pac12, etc...need to show up 3 times.

I member when a playoff contending OU team had to fight in double overtime just to beat an 8 win Butch Jones coached Tennessee team (9-4 with bowl win included). Unlike a lot teams, Auburn does play in a tough conference.
