Some people did. I didn’t argue with them. No one ever does on that page when race comes up. I think it was an emotional response. Plus, there are very few UGA fans who would rather lose with a white QB than win with a black one. It’s just not a thing now. I can’t for the life of me figure why they made that assumption.

Probably all the recruiting hype and the mystique of the dual threat QB. Some people just can’t fathom how he may not be as awesome as we all pumped him up to be.
Really it’s just shitty timing. Fields comes 2 years earlier or a year later and it’s a whole different story. I couldn’t believe he came to UGA in the first place after Fromms year in 2017.
