There have been 290 total plays run in Alabama & Georgia’s last 2 matchups.

@AlabamaFTBL

led for 9 of them (3%) and won both games.

As my old coach used to say, "The only score that matters is the one at the end of the game." Except he used a lot more profanity and sometimes lost his train of thought in the middle and occasionally just gave up and told us to do sprints.

Did your coach make his 3rd string LB play tackling dummy in practice on occasion because getting in the way of players who actually knew what they were doing was what the 3rd string LB did best?

If so, yes, we had the same coach, and I'm sad to say that my ability to impede players who actually knew what they were doing did not land me an athletic scholarship offer from Vanderbilt. You know, in case you were wondering what ever happened to old whatshisname?

In the two games, UGA has led or been tied for 119 of 120 minutes. They lost both of them.

I just saw that on Twitter too.

If I were a UGA fan I would literally vomit at reading that.

As an Alabama fan, it makes me chortle.

With the OT, that's more minutes played, though the same number of minutes tied or in the lead.

Edit: that was wrong. I meant something else. Something something. The point is, Alabama had no more time in the lead since it was a walk-off TD.

While the rest of the SEC has been having their heads caved in by Bama. Georgia has been the only team that could stay with them.
