Not to make excuses for Mike or anything, but once these investigations into NCABB come full circle, things will look a lot better for us.

I always felt NCABB was the shadiest operation in sports. And Mike never struck me as the guy who would cheat.

Mike Anderson was saying before the Texas game that he thinks they'll eventually be ranked. They're good. Between losing that one by 1 point in overtime in game 1, and beating Indiana in game 3, I think we are looking at a tournament team.

I still wouldn't be in fire Mike mode even if they didn't make it though. Contrary to the negahogs opinion, nobody in the country makes the tournament EVERY year. Sometimes your team hits down cycles. It's worse in basketball than it is in football too, IMO. Because there aren't nearly as many players. When you lose a key piece or two it can have a huge effect. Even in the best teams in the country. It wasn't too many years ago that Kentucky didn't make the tournament. Of course, they didn't scream for Calipari's job because of it. Because their fans know this about basketball. We have a lot of low IQ types in our fanbase.
