They're pretty good.
But Bama does have Tua.
I think, if the Saints play their best game and Bama plays uncharacteristically poor, the Saints could pull it off.

With SEC officials... Maybe.

Anybody can beat anybody on any given Sunday, except in the 1972.

Brees would struggle with Bama's pass rush. It would impact his ability to get the ball to his receivers downfield. But the Saints run game would help them win it by about ten to fourteen points.

I don't think this is a serious post, but the answer is the Saints would kill Bama. Everyone raves about Tua who has a 69% completion rate, which is very good, but compare that to Brees who has 77% completion rate this season. And Brees is playing against NFL defenses. Bama is not. Saints are playing 22 NFL starters. How many of Bama's players would start in an NFL game today? 5? 10? 15? Certainly less than 22.
I don't buy that Bama could be an NFL team.

The Cardinals would beat Bama by 3 scores.

You're being silly.
Citadel could beat LSU, though.

They would certainly score.

Im not sure that they would. The Saints’ front 7 would destroy Bama’s o-line.

Nobody does.
This Bama team couldn’t even beat an NFL practice squad.

I don't think even a good team like the Patriots could beat Bama this year.

Tua would barely complete a single pass. The defensive lines and linebackers in the NFL would blow the Bama offensive line apart. Every lineman would set up a house in Bamas backfield.

would probably not score against the Saints, not even Tua can throw off his back, but this is clearly not a serious thread,

Yes the saints would beat Bama.
They are a decent NFL team.
Sure, if Bama was motivated they might beat the Saints, but we know the only team Bama even tries against is LSU.
Their lack of motivation for the game would be Bama’s undoing.
Saints 27-24

The worst NFL team would destroy the best cfb team 99 out of 100 times. Even if you compiled an all-star team made up of the very best college players at every position and had second-string players only on the NFL squad.
The development and physical growth of one full year as an NFL player is an even bigger leap than high school to cfb freshmen.
At 21 or 22 or 23 with a full year of nothing but development and growth in football is more pronounced than what happens at 17, 18 and 19.

I think Payton is on Byrne’s short list after Saban hangs it up.
