Should’ve fouled up 3....didn’t call a time out in final possession.

He’s as stubborn as Bielema when it comes to his old ways of coaching and not evolving as the game does. Coaching lets us down once again.

Was thinking the same thing before they in bounded the ball. Lack of strategy or execution on the most simple things is just unacceptable at this point.

I don't know why several coaches don't foul in that situation. It's like they don't understand the statistics, math and probability of fouling vs letting the guy shoot a three. I'm fricking done with basketball. It sucks because this is by far my favorite sport. We have really good young talent that will be wasted by him.

My favorite part was when we turned the ball over on the in bound play. We didn't need that possession.

Baseball is really all we have that’s legitimate. The sooner we accept that, the better off we will all be.

The difference in the game was obviously free throw shooting to anyone with a functioning brain and eyeballs. But it makes the arm chair racists feel better to hate on Mike because they can't say the N word at work anymore.

This is why some people refrain from hiring black people. You can not disagree with anything they do without some illiterate who is incapable of critical thinking accusing you of "racism".

Well when the game was lost on free throw shooting and people rush to blame the coach, you have to wonder. Funny that you bring up critical thinking.

The decision not to foul up 3 is 100% coaching.

So free throw shooting percentage has nothing to do with coaching either?

Edit: meant to reply to Stone

As if that would have automatically won the game.

and is 99% of the time what any other coach in the country would have done. its frustrating, but this has been a wrinkle in the game that most coaches have avoided for whatever reason. it was good defense and a hell of a shot. it happens.

people are conveniently forgetting how we were getting drilled from 3, and after Mike calls a timeout and we switch to zone, we claw back in. and then after the half, our man defense looked significantly better. thats 100% on coaching.

we were 7 pt dogs on the road with one of the youngest teams in country and should have beaten Texas. my outlook for the season is much better now than it was before the game, and predictably the Fire Mike chants have already started.
