Big Announcement happening tomorrow or next week supposedly

Saw this thread on Rebelgrove. Per Neal in this thread "I've heard a big announcement is coming in the next eight days. I guess it's conceivable, based on what I've heard, that it comes tomorrow. I didn't really press for a more specific timetable."

I think someone mentioned we save a lot of money firing McGriff after the new year. That would be a mistake. Fire him now so we can get someone in to try to recruit defensive players.

We have 30 million in a savings account according to Ross when he was on rebel grove podcast. If we wait a month to fire someone to save a little cash we have our priorities wrong when that puts us behind the 8 ball in recruiting

Hire an "assistant DC" and he recruits his butt off knowing he will DC. Tell McGriff to go home after Egg Bowl and collect paychecks till January 1st. terms met!

I believe McGriff has stepped away from recruiting already however I agree here.... Unless Sam Williams is believed to be coming bc of McGriff. In that case I'd like to wait
