Season opens tonight, someone sticky.
I won't keep it updated, but we can talk in here.
at home vs USC Upstate, hate them.
Lets see how this season goes, wake me up if we are good in march.

I would consider a .500 conference record to be exceeding my personal expectations. I think we have some talent, but outside of Silva, it is all young talent. The SEC looks to be really strong this year, too.

Prob right. Frank is just talking it up like last year when he said we had the best shooting team he had ever coached.

maybe the only thing that could help us is if the NBAPA changes the one and done rule.

That's a shame too. I used to get angry at Martin for chastising the lack of a home crowd, but my response would always be maybe we shouldn't have such a shitty home schedule. We have a solid OCC this year but I'm afraid we're just going to get worked.
Also, the CLA is too big.

Yes.
They really have become such an underrated basketball program. I guess because they're known more as a football school. But this recent run under Beilein has been damn impressive.
Since 2012-13 they've got 2 Final Four Appearances (both runner ups in those Tourneys) an Elite 8, 2 Regular season big 10 champs and 2 Tournament Champs.

Martin either can't recruit SC talent, or doesn't want to put up with the politics of courting it, but it's insane the amount of quality players that have abandoned the state lately.
I like the guy, quite a bit, but his insistence to take on projects is frustrating. He will forever have a decent squad every 3 or four years or so, but this team will be mediocre at best.

I'll definitely be at the one the weekend of the 7th. Already got the lakehouse booked and the flight booked.
I actually liked what I saw tonight with our athleticism. This team has potential. We just gotta find some shooters.

This is why we wont win. Sindarius Thornwell caliber players want the dough and get it anywhere else. We got lucky with thornwell.

Yea, screw PJ he almost fricked us for like 1,000 dollars. If youre gonna get paid, Kentucky and Duke are payin like 200,000.
