Is he as mediocre as he looks or should we be more concerned?

Seems clutch. But he’s not a high percentage passer. Don’t know if that’s him or WRs. Looks like both watching their game last night.

He's like any other LSU QB not named Mett.

He has the ability to run, so they can't let him get the edge.

Fortunately, both LSU lines are shite. He'll be running for his life if Bama's passrush shows up like it has...

If we don't have 11 guys within 10 yards of the LOS, we're doing something wrong on defense.

They play small ball with very limited downfield passing success. Short curls and outs, TE flairs and RB dumpoffs. That's their game. They're pretty good at it, too. Helps maintain ball and game control and keeps the opponent's offense off the field. Burrow doesn't take too many risks, either. Smart player.

Stack that box, get in their receivers' face at the line of scrimmage, keep at least one safety up to jump those short routes. I'd limit blitzing because that can get you in trouble if they dink & dunk on over your blitz.

He’s a smart QB. His completion percentage is down due to drops and throwaways.

He might not win the game, but won’t get you beat. Comparable to McElroy IMO

How many TDs did they score last night? And how long was that drive?

I'm not completely sold on him. He plays within the system. On one to ten, he is a six. He will give you 14 to 21 points a game but I dont think he really play well when he is pressured by defense. If we stay on him, confuse him with the blitzes, we should be in good shape.

I can def see him hitting some back shoulder throws against us early in the game. Despite his mediocre numbers I actually see a pretty decent qb with big bodied receivers. Will be interesting to see how well we hold up in the run game. That will be the difference imo whether LSU is closer their usual meh offense against us or scoring 20 or more

Watching his best game (UGA) and his worst (UF) I’d say he’s about average. Like everyone said won’t win or lose necessarily. If he just flustered and they get behind that’s where he started making mistakes against UF. Throwing behind and in front of the receivers. I think LSU will test our ability to stop the run and kind of base their plan off of that. We will need the heavies in early to stop that.
