Second best safety I have seen play this year. The Georgia receivers had no room for Fromm to throw it to them.

Delpit is awesome. He’s really breaking out in a big way this year.

I will not act like I have watched a lot of safety play for other teams this year, but I know I would not trade Deloitte for any other safety in the country. The kid is everywhere and plays with great emotion.

Delpit and White are both beasts that will be certain first rounders. It is a shame that we lost Chaisson for the season in the first game.

I’ve been screaming this since day one. You could argue LSU has the best safety, linebacker and cornerback in America. Of those three players, Delpit is the one that jumps out at you when you watch a game.

Respek- Bama has a good one too.

UGA had receivers open all day, including 3 wide open TDs that Fromm missed. He also had plenty of time to throw all day. That's why Ridley and Hardman were visibly pissed. What game did you watch gump?

A lot of the fanbase would say that he's already surpassed Jamal Adams. A lot would say it's too soon to say. I agree with the first group.

He really does have a case for the best in the country. One of the tops for sure.

The way he explained his play on the UGA fake field goal.. not only is he incredibly talented, his football IQ is off the charts. Regardless of where he currently ranks, he will be making big time plays on sundays on the regular.

Wasn't Gary comparing him to Minkah? High praise indeed. I have watched LSU three times this year and have noticed his play all three times. he good, real good, like future nfl good.

He really is having an unreal year. Not only does he make plays, he makes the key plays of the game. (Just ask Gus, Richt or Kirby)

He sniffed out that fake FG, and stopped the 2pt conversion and made several key plays. The best part was Kirby Smart’s press conference when we he is getting questioned about FG and he explained they studied the film and every single time the player went inside and the play should of worked. He then shakes his head in disbelief and says Delpit was were he was supposed to be. (And he is 100% correct, he wasn’t. He saw something funny in blocking scheme and diagnosed the play right before the snap. He just has great instincts, like honey badger, but less ball hawk and more football smart
