I mean why is he targeting the wrong personnel?

Totally agree. Talent in general, we are fine.

This is a question I cant answer. I have no idea why we left what he was doing well and changed to what we are doing now. Our fan base wanted a more pass heavy offense where it was more "balanced". I never did. I was fine with a 75% run offense. It was very effective

Once again, I have no idea. Seems like every SEC team has a QB with wheels except us.

He could be bipolar or something.... I have always been a big believer in him but ever since he became less of a on hands guy and more of a CEO guy, he has not done well.
Now with all that said, we still should have beaten MSU Saturday night. He is not doing the job that he is being paid to do but the players lost that game plain and simple.
Two wide open TD passes over thrown that even someone from this board could have made
Starting RB fumbles the ball going across the goal line
Senior WR drops TD pass in the corner of the end zone
Punt returner drops two punts, one a turnover that results in a TD for MSU
Just cant recover from 4 TDs off the board. Not taking anything away from State, they took advantage of our bad play. Plain and simple. Congrats to them
That plus the bad coaching and bad blocking, we lose

This is my issue with him and why I can't wait to move on from him. If he isn't going to change his offense to accommodate whiteboy, pocket passing QB's, then at the very least recruit the right kids for his system. It's mind boggling.
2010 & 2013 saw some great RPO play from our QB's. Naturally you'd think Gus would capitalize on such success and keep recruiting them. He failed in his Jeremy Johnson and JF3 assessments, and then had Sean White and Stidham. He's now going after Bo Nix, which won't work either because Gus can't draw up a true passing offense.
What his dumbass should be doing is playing Malik Willis regularly and recruiting the nations top true dual threat QB's. With the success of 2010 & 2013 he should've made Auburn the nations #1 school for dual threat QB's, but he hasn't done that.

He’s Les Miles 2.0.

Recruiting ranks are fake as hell. A quick look at our RBs and OL show it to be true.
