I agree. That's a great season for y'all, but I'm not letting the Gators talk y'all up because they lost.

LOL Yeah Missouri's run D is top notch, and UK has one of the best defenses in the country.

The fact that you think the team that gave up over 500 rushing yards to Georgia Tech is going to possibly beat Kentucky proves you are just like every Ohio State fan I have ever known. Full of themselves and knows nothing about football.

But hey, you get excited about beating teams in the dumpster fire Big Ten.

Current Top 25 Teams we play in the regular season.

Kentucky - 4
Ohio State - 2

And that's only because Wisconsin is a literal pile of garbage that has played nobody and got beat by a bad BYU team at home, but somehow manage to still be in the top 15.

Big Ten is cupcake city.

9 posts in this thread chief? 9? Odd that a fan of an elite program would be all up in Kentucky’s mix. How about you bugger off and go talk trash with Bama fans.

Dayum! He made a basketball reference about Kentucky! Burrrrrrrrrn! That is a fresh take! That’s clever enough I bet you’ve been working on it since the spring game. Who would’ve ever thought someone would tie together the University of Kentucky and basketball? I’ve been over here since the 2012 championship trying to come up with the perfect joke about Vandy and academics but I was afraid it was too obscure. I mean you’d have to do some pretty serious research to come up with Vandy and high academic standards. Could you even get any hits on google with those search terms? I can’t imagine. My other thought was a witty reference to Alabama and success on the gridiron but I decided the average fan outside of Tuscaloosa probably isn’t aware of the Tide’s winning tradition. At one point I’d settled on a joke about orange skin and bad combovers about Donald Trump but then I realized the vast majority of Americans would be asking “who?”. Maybe if you get some extra time between eating peaches you can give me some comedy pointers. I should probably apologize to the rest of tRant. That peaches reference is some pretty insider stuff. If my uncle hadn’t lived in Georgia for several years I’d probably have the same clueless expression I figure most ranters have when it comes to that mysterious quip.

Also, 45 my arse.

Be serious.

Kentucky is an 8-4 team, 9-3 on the upside.

Mississippi State is offensively limited for sure but they're better than Missouri...

Not really sure why you're so hell-bent on thinking Kentucky will lose three more games. The losses just aren't on the schedule. It's okay to think that the SEC is overrated and that Kentucky, Mississippi State, Florida, Auburn, etc. are all bad teams. That's a logically consistent thought. But not sure how you can shite on all of these teams that Kentucky has beaten and then say that Missouri and Tennessee are teams who will beat Kentucky. Not logically consistent at all.

I'm not "talking them up," you idiot. They're not bad. They're alright. They're better than Tennessee and Louisville. Since the only two difficult games left on their schedule are Georgia and Missouri (I guess), it appears very likely they'll finish at least 9-3.

Maybe then they make the Outback Bowl and get lit up by a B1G team. It's possible. Idk. But facing the reality that they're 5-1 through the most difficult part of the schedule and have an easier second-half schedule ahead isn't talking the quality of their team up. It's just reality.

Adorable.

Strength of schedule:

Ohio State - 1
Kentucky - 9

Close, so congrats on that. Ask Bama if SoS really matters...

And at the end of the day they’ll finish undefeated or 1loss and in the playoff while you finish 8-4 and in the Bell bowl, but hey keep toting that SOS

Kentucky is a good team, but like many teams, they have vulnerabilities that can be exposed. Anytime time Kentucky plays a defense that has a better than average front 7 defensively they're going to struggle offensively. Facing that front 7 chore is tough for any team, but the equalizer to this DL problem is a QB who makes good quick reads and makes the tight throws. Kentucky's doesn't have this type of QB play and this is their biggest weakness. Plus, I wanna see how Kentucky handles their 1st loss after such a magical start, and I'm curious to see if depth catches up to them. Depth could cause Kentucky to lose a game they shouldn't lose this season. That 4th straight SEC game @ Tennessee is a dangerous one, and when we consider that Tenn game is right after a high emotional Georgia game. This is a very dangerous game that Kentucky should win easily on paper, but CFB is a grinding marathon. The grind gets the best of depth, let alone thin depth...

When facing tough Defensive front 7's, especially on the road, Kentucky defense will have to keep opposing offenses below 10-14 points and that's tough to do against any decent offense. I hope Kentucky can pull this off and win the SEC East this year. Georgia is my 2nd favorite SEC program but.....what Kentucky has right now doesn't happen often for them, period! Georgia will get more opportunities again, and then some....

Kentucky biggest friend right now: they don't face 4 SEC teams, that are ranked in the top 25, the rest of the way. Besides Georgia -vs- Kentucky match-up, Kentucky doesn't have LSU, Gators, and Auburn coming up like Georgia does. Boy, Georgia SEC West pull is a tough one this season, no doubt! Kentucky could lose to Georgia and still win the SEC East, that's how tough Georgia's remaining schedule is.

I mean, shite happens, but typically, better teams beat worse teams more often than not.

There's a chance Tennessee or Louisville beats Kentucky, because, yeah, shite happens, but Kentucky is significantly better than both teams, so predicting a Kentucky loss because "shite happens and Kentucky is Kentucky" isn't a good argument considering the relative strength of those teams.

And Kentucky is a significantly better team than Miss--

--Oh, I see what's going on here. Missouri beat a B1G team so you think they're a lot better than they are. Kentucky is a lot better than Missouri this year, dude.

Yep, like Kentucky beating Florida. That win is the only reason Kentucky is being talked about right now.

Nice try. I tell you that you're inflating Kentucky because they beat Florida, so you flip it around to...Purdue. Check into that. I made fun of people who thought Purdue would be good this year.
