You really don't have a point. Kentucky lost to a decent team on the road. Losing doesn't make them a good team nor is it a plus on their resume. Their wins over UF and Mississippi State are definite pluses, though.

Sure I do. Anyone who knew anything dismissed Kentucky. Congrats for beating Florida, but that's the best it gets for their season. 8-4 and another beat down by a mediocre Big Ten team.

You looked at their schedule? They'll probably finish 10-2.

I don't think they're a national contender but they'll make a decent bowl game and finish ranked. I guess it depends on what your idea of "dismissed" is. Yeah, they're not Bama or Ohio State, but I don't think anyone ever claimed that they were. They're just a pretty good team. Silly to claim otherwise.

Yep.

8-4 is likely. 9-3 if they get lucky. 7-5 if they remember that they're Kentucky.

Who'll they lose to? Georgia, sure. Who else? Maybe Missouri, although probably not. Surely not Tennessee or Louisville.

Georgia, Missouri, and one or both of Tennessee and Louisville.

Look, I get it. You have incentive to represent them as a good football team. They're not. They're still the Kentucky we know, they just caught y'all napping.

I missed a good deal of sports in the offseason. Did the SEC change the rules about cross-divisional games counting in the standings or something?

OF course not. Certainly all games count in the standings. But, the fact is, if UK can win out, they will win the East.
Only UK and UGA are left in the East that can win out and win the division without any other help.

This is just dumb. They also dominated a solid Mississippi State team and shat all over South Carolina. I know those aren't wins that move the needle nationally, but they're not a pushover. They're a better team than Missouri and miles ahead of Tennessee and Louisville. It doesn't take a great team to be better than those teams. Kentucky doesn't have to be great to finish 10-2 at this point. They just have to be solid.

Kentucky beating Florida has nothing to do with the reality that Kentucky is better than the non-Georgia teams left on their schedule.

Be serious.

Kentucky is an 8-4 team, 9-3 on the upside.
