Someone posted on that board that Stidhams future father in law had bought a house in Auburn possible indications of Stidham returning next year.
but mister Phillip Marshal has replied in that thread and I quote "Stidham wont be back. He might have hurt his draft stock, but he'll still be drafted. his future father in law is extremely wealthy. buying a house for convenience is something not many of us can do. but it says nothing about Stidhams plans" finally some good news

PM over time has proven to be the most accurate inside guy for Auburn. He doesn't trash players and coaches, but he tends to offer pretty accurate info. If you learn to read between the lines you can tell when he says something he doesn't say.

I know for some reason he has a bad rep among auburn fans I guess its because sometime he doesn't hit the nail on the head with his info. but that can be said about reason. I trust Marshall when it comes to info more than I trust other insiders

Draft analysts are saying he should come back another year, like that's even an option for him. Yeah, he'll be drafted. The next Mr. Irrelevant.

Never understood the flack he takes...he doesn't report what he can't report. He doesn't lead fans in directions that set them up for failed expectations. In 2010 he was literally the only reporter on earth consistently saying his sources tell him that Cam and the allegations would never blow back on Auburn. He was on the wordless smallest island, but he was 100% right.
His unwillingness to complain about coaches or players is the reason people trash him at times IMO. I appreciate that about him.

He should have went pro last year. This oline and Gus have ruined him. If you think this year is bad just wait until we have a TE in Gatewood throwing or a strong safety in willis.
Stidham still makes some damn good throws the one to slayton in the back of the endzone running to his left was very impressive. ALso the long one to RD as he was falling backwards.

here is the thing.........Stidham probably is leaving. Who will be the QB next year? Some incoming freshman. A DT QB that can't read things fast enough? Whoever it is, we have seen very little out of him.

I said last night when folks wanted Stidham benched that what is behind him is complete trash and not even close to what Stidham is. That's the truth and it's scary as frick looking forward to next year with what we have coming to replace him. Especially when you consider the defense won't be as good either.

There's no secret that Gus screwed them both up, I believe Tom Brady would regress under Gus.
