I was surprised when I learned that the Mayflower was still in operation. I used to go there for a platter of sizzling steak and fries 51 years ago. A while back I visited their website. Not much has changed.
I hate that Allen's is no longer. I often had Allen's hamburger steaks and cheap draft beer.

I ate at the grill a few times freshman year, never was impressed. Never been back. I don't get the love for that place. It has been 20 years so maybe it got better?

Speaking of WaHo, the best one is up 29 on the way to Hull, just after you pass Southern Brewing Co. Cleanest, fastest, less fricked up orders, basically the perfect waffle house.

The grill is a post drinking spot. A shake and feta fries is a sure way to diminish the hang overs. I love that place
