A fine Christian man and American made this speech and willed his team to another national title.
Bless him

And the liberal media vilified him for kneeling to pray. Thanks Mizzou

Announcers were better people because they spent 5 minutes with Tebow.
Seriously, Bob and Pam raised a kid that walks the walk.

Don’t care what anybody says about Tim...if your son grows up to be like him, you have succeeded as a parent.

The event he has each year for the mentally ill and physically handicapped is nothing short of amazing. Worldwide event. The kid puts his money where his mouth is.

I never understood why so many people root against him. He is the person we all want our kids to become.

Agreed
Can we please stop with the negativity and what others believe and focus on this speech.
What a season that was.
I remember when they beat OU in the title and chanting SEC at my television.
In fact my whole family was. What a great win it was for us

Just like everyone else I really like Tebow... but there is no "I" in team. However there is "me", just not as much "me" as in his speech. I'm impressed with the man but I've never thought much of merits of that speech other than it was sincere.

The merits are the man took the blame for a loss, then said he will do every single thing he can to win every game and never give short of all he has. And he did...after that speech UF basically dominated every team by 40+ till the SEC title game. I understand people disliking him because of his media attention. But the kid gave everything he had on the field. I can only hope we get another player who cares that much about winning again.

Then people are going to really hate Tua.

I've always rooted for him but I still wouldn't want my son to be like him any more than I would want my son to be like Nick Saban, other than the being rich and successful parts obviously.

If my son brings home young ladies like he does, then I have succeeded as a father.

I will never forget the way he played in the 4th quarter of the 08 SECCG. I mean say what you want about his passing ability, but he certainly did hit the passes when they mattered most that night.

It wasn't his blame to take nor his promise to give, for the team I mean. I like Tebow and I love his competitive spirit, always have. But there are plenty of kids who care as much about winning. It's just that most kids aren't as uniquely qualified to deliver on the wins like Tebow was.
Like I said I loved him, always did. I never jumped on the basher bandwagon, other than some good natured ribbing after the '09 SECCG. It's just "the Speech" was too a little to "me" centric for my taste. I understand that it's his sincerity that causes everyone to love the his speech, but I'm just not a fan of the vocabulary choices.
