we don't give Field's any even when Fromm is playing poorly

So what if Fields plays poorly when he comes in. Then we go back to Fromm and ruin both the QBs' confidences?

Good call

Impossible. He’s the greatest backup QB ever to play the game.

Also you have to remember that we’re living in Fields world and exist solely for him to gain experience so he can win the starting role. If we need to take a loss so we can insert a freshman into a tight SEC game then thats a small price to pay.

Funny how Clemson and Alabama didn't have that mentality with their freshman QBs. Look at them now. It's also laughable how you automatically assume that Fields is just going to be terrible if we bring him in. I suspect it has nothing to do with that and more to do with the fact that you love Fromm and will defend him no matter what.

If Fromm was playing lights out, this wouldn't even be a discussion. His performance in the first half of the only two real games we played were just garbage.
