Wrong

Louisville, the offensive powerhouse, who barely barely beat WKU, managed to put up 14 points against Alabama.

Arkansas State matched our point total against Alabama.

You could argue that sports media were sandbagging the Alabama secondary as inexperienced and young. But even then, our starters could even manage against their bench warmers?

Remember how that offense was shut out for the entire second half against Texas A&M last year. That wasn't a particularly good defense.

How about when Ole Miss could only manage two field goals against a horrible Arkansas team?

I'll give them somewhat some consistency against State and Kentucky last year, though.

They also heard all week about how Ole Miss was gonna score on them and carve them up. Sabans teams use that as motivation especially when they have the talent to back it up, which they seem to always have.

You could also argue our offense might have been more motivated to play hard throughout the game if it wasn’t over by the second quarter. I’m not sure what comparing Louisville scoring 14 meaningless points to our 7 meaningless points does to prove anything about either offense. They both sucked against a stacked defense.
