Need to add one more big man in that 19 class. Looking like they could be going with 2 primary ball handlers starting as some good teams have done in recent years.
Josiah to go along with 3 senior guards (Bone, Turner, Bowden) in that 19-20 season and a senior Grant Williams in the post could be a more dangerous tourney team than what we'll have this year.

Hell of a pickup. Barnes has a Top 10 team coming into the season and a bright trajectory for the program moving forward. Not to mention a lengthy list of players he's put into the NBA. Glad he pulled the trigger for the good guys.

Here's an article that James wrote himself. Published today by The Moultrie News, detailing going through the recruiting process and why he decided to choose UT & Coach Barnes. Sounds like a classy, very intelligent kid.

Frank Martin needs to ask Rick Barnes about how to recruit the state of South Carolina.
This is one of the best recruiting cycles that state of SC has had in awhile and South Carolina has completely missed on every. single. player.

I don’t think I’ve been too hard on Barnes. I said he needed to add one big time player in the 19 class with Schofield graduating and he did. Have I said anything about Barnes’ recruiting that isn’t fair? I honestly don’t think so. I haven’t been down on his recruiting at all that I remember.

I’ve referred to his team as the 3 star bandits a few times after bad losses but I don’t think I’ve ever legitimately questioned his recruiting.
