Not trying to pick on Auburn here, but listening to the radio guys and some of the fans...

how can you possibly argue the last PI call should not have been called. He grabbed his arm and the WR basically would have had to make a one handed catch to bring in the pass. Not to mention turning his body around at the same time.

If that's not PI, we'd have to go back to 1930's football.

I think everyone was more upset about having similar plays not called for both sides than anything, but our radio guys are morons and always do this, so I’m not surprised.

Jack Crowe and some former player used to do a YouTube live of them watching the game. In 2014 State got out to a 21-0 lead and they were still blaming the officials.

Fans of losing teams don’t want to accept losing. See Auburn against LSU in 2018 and Alabama against Clemson in 2016.

I do think our radio guys are beyond obnoxious with it though. Bitch about it for a minute and move on. Anyone who watched that game saw Auburn dominate a long stretch of the game without putting up points. LSU took advantage of it. Get at least 3 points in the 2nd half, and we win. PI call had little to do with it.

The first PI on that last drive was holding as the ball was being thrown

Defender put his arm around the waist of the receiver

Should not have been 15yds, but 5

But I think the worst missed call in the game was the non reviewable fumble due to an early whistle

It was because they missed an obvious, "text book" call on the drive before on LSU. Simple as that. It's an easy call when you stop the tape and take a picture.

Is that the play in question?

Never mind. My mind was elsewhere apparently. It's Ben a long weekend.

Auburn recovered it anyway. The Auburn player came out of the pile with the ball.

Are you talking about that fumble very early on? DIdn't the Auburn guy have the ball at the bottom of the pile? He certainly came up with it. Danielson and Nessler never seemed to mention that. Never saw an LSU player with the ball.

Our grab got called, not Greedy's on our last drive. Affected the end of the game.

Say what you want, but it's true. Even the announcers said he got away with it. Disagree agree all you want.

I think pretty much every non-Auburn source thought the call was correct.

..and I really haven't seen that many Auburn fans complain about that particular call, anyway. Certainly not to the level of their radio guy's histrionics

Auburn should've taken care of business well before questionable calls got in the way. No beef here.

You do know that Auburn would have gained a couple of yards had they ruled it a fumble right?

Auburn is stuck where we are with Gus. The gay PI calls don't matter.

Auburn came up with the ball anyway so this argument is dumb

The officiating on both sides sucked arse

Yes. Auburn recovered the ball. Danielson and Nessler were too cought up in the early whistle to follow the play.
