On quarterback play ...
“Through practice, we went through practice this week, we were going to try and stay with one guy. I was trying to get to the point of staying with one guy as long as we could
with the hopes to give the entire game to Cole (Kelley). Cole had the better week of practice. So we made the decision to go with Cole and made the decision to stay with Cole in
the second half. I wanted to see if he could rally us back. We got in there at halftime and had some good adjustments and talked and let him know that ‘Hey we’ll go right back
with you’. The game situation and circumstances, and the interception with them going down and scoring, I wanted to go with Connor Noland. I did not want to put Ty (Storey) in
that situation with them being down that far. That was my decision to go with Connor.”

Ty has been better than cole all year. Start ty next game. If he doesnt I have no faith in Morris and will never trust his decision again. If you wont play the better qb or cant tell what is painfully obvious I cant help you

In other words, CM gave up.

Cole has a better arm than Ty, but Ty is easily superior in every other facet. That's not saying much, but still.

Yes I do not think ty is a "good" quarterback. But cole kelly is a legit division 2 football player. He should be at Henderson or obu. Not Arkansas I doubt he would start at uca and he damn sure wouldnt start for the red wolves. They'd beat the frick out of us this year

If he was an athlete he'd be a TE

Cole has no business playing D1 football as a QB, it's obvious he doesn't know the playbook.
I don't fault this staff for a lot of the issues on this team but their handling of the QB situation is a trainwreck and baffling.

It was the worst press conference I have ever seen. If he wanted to make sure Storey transferred, he will get his wish. He may be more of an idiot than Bert.

Charlston folks have said he was gonna transfer last year to get away from bert.
So him and Jred are 2 players who were gonna leave anyways and are not all in. I expect all 3 of the bert recruits to leave at QB this year. He is going to play noland, and jsj. We will take our lumps now. He needs to bench all srs and jrs of all kinds that have any milligram of quit in them (all of these are on offense btw, the older defensive guys still put up a fight atleast early and enough to win a game if the offense wasnt a shite show)
Im not sure chaggy has the dick to do this, but its time to tell these guys to kick rocks. Bobby did it. He needs to do it. Get some extra schollies, wnd and make this class huge.

I’d really also like us to stop rotating the WRs quite so much. Give me Woods, Pettway and Cornelius and go. It’s a turnstile right now after almost every single play which, in my opinion, is leading to some of the confusion. Keep the personnel the same and try to play with some tempo. This offense isn’t complex enough to be giving the defense time to fully reset for 20-30 seconds in between plays. Keep them moving and off balance.

I hope you're right. It needs to happen, but when Kelley was still in the game after throwing 4 picks, i lost all faith in Morris.

1. frick no to Cornelius. He's awful.
2. We don't go tempo because Chad Morris does not run an up tempo offense. He didn't at SMU. He doesn't at Arkansas. It's as big of a fallacy as people claiming Bert is a physical, tough, hard nosed, ground and pound offense behind a great O Line coach.

And there’s someone better to take his place in the slot?

Yes and no. He doesn’t run a warp speed offense like Oregon did but he does adjust tempo. He goes fast at times and he goes slow at times. We just go slow all the time right now because it seems they can’t grasp the calls.

I get wanting to play one guy. hes trying to show support as the divided thing isn't really working either.
what you saw out there was one team who understood what they were doing vs. a team who doesnt.
North texas is a much better team than us in pretty much every facet of the game right now.
my concern is that the whole team continues to shoulder the blame so either everyone is completely lost or they refuse to identify what the problem is.
I think our QBs arent checking right as sometimes we seem to attack where they have numbers and other times we click and you we hit a chunk play with space.

Devion Warren? Hell play TJ Hammonds there if he's going to get 1 carry a game at RB because nobody can run behind this line. Anybody but entitled whiny loser Jared Cornelius' awful arse.

I can't agree with this. They have both sucked pretty much equal amounts of time.

I can't either...storeys one "good game" came against an fcs team where he underthrew receivers who had to adjust all day
Storey had a 10.7 qbr last week against a worse team than North Texas.
Know how bad a 10.7 qbr is? Cole Kelley nearly doubled that qbr yesterday with a 20.7 while throwing 4 picks!

Coach is a gutless pussy.
Our team is soft as a fresh pile of dog shite a reflection of Coach Red Bull Cliche'.
Not melting, just numb to football

Y'all think Connor starts against Auburn? That might ruin him.

I'm not saying playing qb is the same as rb or that noland will be the equivelant of earl Campbell but I dont think putting someone up against tough competition should ruin them.
