The line was released yesterday for the North Texas game. Anyone thinking we cover? North Texas is 2-0 after wins against SMU and Incarnate Word.
Their quarterback has thrown for 862 yards and has a 72% completion rate and 7 touchdowns versus 1 interception. Their kicker is Cole Hedlund and is 7/7 for the year on field goals made.

I'm scared

Of course he is perfect. It's the Arkansas luck.

He also has 3 over 40 yards. Did he ever make a 40 yard field goal when he was here

Speaking of FG kickers... what do we have to do to get a kid like the one at CSU?
Even our extra points look like an adventure.

Wasn't Zach Hocker slated to go to ASU before we picked him up late? He was head and shoulders better than the guy we almost went with at the time.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Cole Hedlund as an example of the problems that have hounded this program. For whatever reason most players don't come close to developing to their level of talent. Coaches that looked like complete dog mess here have gone to other schools and thrived.

I'm hoping this is just a hangover from the Bielema years.

Close, but the perfect Arkansas luck would be if Hedlund kicks a game winner at the end of regulation for NT and runs around the stadium throwing the double bird to the Arkansas crowd.

UNT have majors injuries? If not, Wrong team is favored.
I’m coming out of wagering retirement.
Hopefully the line doesn’t drop.

This is a definite possibility. They're an actual good G5 team. I hope it doesn't because we need some sort of good faith offering for recruits.

I got a bad feeling as well. Hope we can find a quarterback in the next four days.

Sadly I think we are seeing why Ty Storey was on the bench the last few seasons. As for Cole... he looks like he's trying to solve a quantum physics question that he has to translate from Swahili to Ancient Greek first.

Either we hurl one of the Super-Freshmen QBs onto the field and pray, or we hope that Kelley eventually picks up enough of the playbook to run it.

Wess Moore on radio made a point yesterday on his show that after the Alabama game the schedule slacks off and that might be the time to put in the freshmen to see what they can do so you don’t throw them to the wolves right off the bat. Remember Brandon Allen seemed to be put in way before he was ready and it took forever for him to get his confidence back (whoever burned his car turned his life around mojo wise).

Yup. It why I've said I understand why the coaches are going this route but if Kelley and Storey continue to play this badly they might feel they need to put in one of the new guys sooner.

I'm hoping no one tries to replicate this by barbecuing Storey and Kelley's cars. It might hinder recruiting if we get a reputation for flambeing our QBs vehicles.
