I am not familiar with him. Is he any good? I see he is from Baton Rouge.

He's from Memphis. He left Memphis to go to New Orleans. Now he is in Jackson. When he was with the Memphis Commercial-Appeal, his photo was the same for about 30 years. When I saw his new photo, it reminded me of old Lopan.
That being said, he is light years above what the CL has had since, well, ever.

No idea but since he is going to the CL he must be down on his luck and completely out of options

Well, you just described every newspaper reporter out there. Why someone like Kellenburger would choose, in this day, to make that a career choice shows just how moronic that guy is. At least Ron Higgins is old and made a career choice prior to the death of the newspaper industry.

You could not get a more disgusting hater of all things Mississippi State than Ron Higgins. He's trashed State for decades even though his son was a walkon football for Jackie.
