Devonta Smith? Jeudy? Waddle? Diggs? Ruggs? Najee?

Looks like you nailed it from my point of view.

Based on player interviews it sounds like the fastest player is either Waddle or Ruggs

Brian Robinson and Dylan Moses are in the first tier.

Depends on what kind of speed, straight line or shiftiness. Guys like D.Henry or Scarborough were serious speedsters but took time to hit their stride. Of course waddle only needs a step or two and they are already there

Waddle, Ruggs, and Smith have all run a sub 10.7 100m dash. Waddle ran a 10.68 as a sophomore. I think if they ran the race 10 times, all 3 would end up winning at least one.
Brian Robinson is our fastest tailback, or was timed as such at out of high school. I remember seeing a 4.42 time for him. I hope he stays the course, he’s got rare athleticism.

1) Robinson ran a 4.41 in spring testing 2017.

Based on Saturday, Waddle looks to be the fastest. I was sitting in the end zone during his punt return that was called back and seeing his acceleration as he cut horizontally across the field to find the lane was incredible. Holy shite that dude is fast.

IIRC there were some interviews of Smitty, Ruggs and Jeudy recently and they seemed to basically agree that Ruggs was the fastest. But pretty sure that wasn't including Waddle.
It would be fun to see Waddle and Ruggs in a foot race

Speaking of Ruggs, he was kind of MIA Saturday as far as receiving. I only remember him catching one pass from Jalen on the back shoulder throw, which was actually a great pass by Hurts. But Ruggs was like that last year. He only seemed to pop up when he was catching touchdown passes.

I agree and remember thinking during that punt return that he put a lot of distance between himself and everyone else very quickly.
