I'll be there. Not thrilled about a noon kickoff, as I'm sure it'll be the hottest day of the year or something, but I'm happy to see some football again.

Take note of how nice it was outside today, and let's contrast it with next Saturday around let's say noon. Is there any doubt it'll be about 10 degrees warmer with much higher humidity?
On a side note, is anyone else happy we're opening the season with a relatively easy game rather than our normal stress inducing important power 5 opponent game? While I love playing important games, it's nice to have a game to work out the kinks.

We do one every year ... Frogmore Stew. I think it's the Mizzou game this year.
Our menu is out for the season. We do breakfast stuff for early games. Shrimp and Grits this coming week (it'll be two weeks in a row for me because we had family in from Texas this weekend and did Shrimp and Grits and fried oysters) and I think we're doing BBQ for the UGA game. I know we're doing chili (five different kinds) for the Tennessee game and I think it's Frogmore Stew for the Mizzou game. We usually do tenderloins for one late game but we keep hearing we may not get but one night game at home this year.

As a native and resident of Conway, let me say there isn't a bigger collection of Yankee asshats and guidos in the Palmetto State than there is at CCU. I absolutely despise Coastal Carolina and would gladly see the legislature shut them down tomorrow, forcing all those Yankees to spend 4 years in Wilmington at UNCW and staying the hell out of our state.

When it comes to pure student bodies Coastal Carolina is the worst and it’s not even close.
Like a mix between jersey shore, FloriBama Shore (or whatever that redneck version of jersey shore was called) and a blink 182 concert from the early 2000s.

My Wife and Son visited there with friends (because she thought it would be neat for our Son to just see what it was like) and they did the campus tour that morning then they were sitting in another rah rah meeting and got up and left, called Huber to take them to Enterprise, rented a car and were home by 3PM.
Both said they would never go back.
Coastal is its own worst enemy. But ... and this is the good thing - they suck away a lot of the yankee NJ and NY traffic that used to attended at the main campus back in the day, and that's a good thing. They are like a filter keeping the yankee trash away from the Columbia campus comparatively.

Poor Northerners (as KS has said before there’s a difference between NE and MW) that are too dumb to go to schools up there and looking to save some bucks by not going to private schools and kids from Blythewood that can’t get into Clemson or USC (which is quite shocking)
