I'm seeing best case scenario 8 wins on their schedule. Defense is Big 12 level weak, no SEC caliber rushing attack, and they lost their biggest deep threat for Lock.

This is a CNN level fake news post.

Crockett/Roundtree are SEC backs and will show that this year
Hall is the deep threat not Moore

I can't really say much about the defense but even CNN throws one fact in a paragraph of horse shite

Not reading everything posted but do some research and find out who was the last Heisman winning who played on a shite team. He may a a very good year but not making it to the SECCG and not sniffing the playoffs give him an automatic....

Lock is a big time talent and will be, perhaps, the best QB in the league this year ... but on an average team.

He's got the quickest release and sweetest throwing motion I've seen in years. Throws an incredibly catchable ball and he's above average accurate.

But he's not going to get enough help from his surrounding players to win The Heisman.

He may well be a high first rounder though ... and that's all that really matters.

I understand why many on this site point to his below average stats against ranked opponents. I get it. He hasn’t been good against most ranked opponents he’s played against.

But then people forget that Mizzou recruits like garbage and has Barry Odom as head coach. Kid is throwing to 3 star WRs that only got offered by Rutgers and his defense is littered with fringe 3 stars who wouldn’t make the squad at Baylor. Joking aside, his supporting cast on both sides of the ball is trash yet he’s shown he’s an elite player.

He’s a great talent that many trash without taking into consideration the players he’s working with.

I never really like Josh Heupel's air raid offense to a point. Why did OU fired him as their OC there? He was not that good. Point is he could not get the offense going against good teams that have great defense. Misouri is not going to ignor the air raid offense completely. The new OC will try to make sure the defense is not going to be able to stop Missouri to keep moving the ball on every series Missouri gets on the offense. THat is the difference maker between Heupel's offense and Dooley's offense. I have high expectation that Missouri will play better on offense this year against better defensive teams. Also the defense did hurt Missouri earlier of the season that messed up everything. Took time to make adjustments. This time around should be a lot better. Barry Odom have learned and have made adjustments from year one to year two. Now in year three should see a much improved offense that will be better against good teams that have good defense. I have seen the improvements. That is one way you can judge a head coach for the next year. Also based on returning key players for this year.

He won't win the Heisman but here's a stat that shows how badly he was hurt with drops.

That is right! Why did Barry Odom went after Dooley for his OC opening? He was the wide receiver coach for Dallas Cowboys and been with Dallas for 5 years.

Cause that's all he could find?

Never taught the Cowboys how to run routes
