I've got a funny feeling this is one of those years where they randomly go 10-2 or 11-1, and win the East.
They have the offense. If the defense could stop anything, they have a shot. They also get UGA at home.

I think they'll win the East if the defense can be at least serviceable.

They have a chance with their offense.

But we also have Odom, which he could possibly cancel all that out.

I wouldn't sleep on a team that won their last six regular season games by an average margin of 30 points. I don't care who you're playing.

Missouri's 7 wins last year they averaged 54 points a game (against Mizz St, Idaho, UConn, UF, UT, Vandy, Arkansas)
Their 6 losses they averaged 18 points a game (against SC, Purdue, AU, UK, UGA, Texas)
Moral of the story = they padded the frick out of their offensive stats and beat up on shitty teams, while being brought down to earth against actually good teams. I see no reason for that to change too terribly much this year, basically they will put a beat down on bad teams and will wilt when they play better more talented teams. They will easily lose to at least SC, UGA, and Bama which will automatically eliminate them from winnign the east.

An offense so stacked, it may even be hard for Doolander to screw it up.

He's not a retard, he's just a horrible football coach. Shouldve remained an AD or attourney or something.

If they can just beat Purdue.
They struggle with them from Indiana.

I totally agree, Cheese Grits. @ Purdue is going to be an early game that's gonna tell us all we need to know about this defense

When the Boilers picked up Brohm I think they picked up a guy who could win in the B1G. Granted it is just his 2nd year but their first 4 games are at home (including the Mizzou game) and they can be 4-0 heading to Nebraska.
