I doubt he beats out Campbell or Webb; those guys are just physical specimens for the position with speed to match. However, I think he finds his way into the rotation if he is playing smart football with his speed

No doubt Webb is more physical, but I don't think his speed is in the same class as Stokes and Campbell. Those two are probably in the 4.40 range if they train for it, Webb maybe 4.6 to 4.7 is my guess. Not saying Stokes wins the job, but he has a good skill set if he can add some bulk and everything clicks.

What about Speed? Is he falling back on the depth chart?

Webb as physical as he is could develop into a Richard Sherman type.

The writers mostly say Webb will be the starter, so he's obviously good. As for Speed, I haven't seen much positive commentary. He's seemed to have some tackling issues a few times, don't know if that's the problem or something else.

Rusty have been talking up Devonte Wyatt. He stated how fast he is for a 6'3 300 pound DL referencing his track history and playing RB at times. Sound like a 50lb lighter version of John Jenkins.

Did we have a scrimmage today?

OR could very well be an Ogletree/Blue hybrid. This class has an intriguing collection on defense.
I think Stokes' speed is too tantalizing not to tinker with. The corners last season were not very fast collectively, so Stokes is a good guy to get in there to experiment.

I had to caption this photo
"Don't listen to what you've been hearing in the locker room. I'm starting you opposite Baker day one."

Stokes has some serious physical traits. Elite speed and good length (listed at 6'1"). General consensus seems to be that all are very capable.

If he's in the same zip code as Roquan the Dawgs might be in for another epic run this year.
