I have no idea what your allegiance to him is like.

I'm sure they're enjoying it (his suffering not the domestic violence)

Just kind of in awe of the situation, and how dumb it was to keep such an expendable guy on your staff.

I don’t necessarily hope he gets fired, but I certainly expect him to.

He gave us 5 awesome years and Tim Tebow, but he’s always been a questionable human. I hope the truth comes out and he gets what he deserves. I don’t understand what he had to gain by lieing when he knew the text were out there, just seems idiotic. Maybe the whole Big 10 will get blown up with all the rape scandals and domestic violence going on up there. I’m just happy it’s not Florida.

I heard the local Gainesville newspaper guy on esnpu a little while ago, wondering why so many UF fans don't like Urbs.

I LOL'd.

I've heard that after his fake health issues, UF paid him 7 figures to sit in an office and 'get healthy'. In return, he used that time to look for another coaching job, stole UF's recruiting board that Muschamp was working his arse off to fill, then assembled a coaching staff that had at least one guy from UF, and proceeded to take some recruits with him to OSU.

And I think I remember Muschamp being asked about this one time and somehow he took the high road and decided not to talk about it. If Urbs leaves, I bet my next paycheck this issue comes back and a reporter asks Muschamp about this - with Meyer out of coaching, I bet Muschamp goes ahead and lets loose with the details this time. I for one am very interested. Sounds like Meyer did some shady stuff to UF on his way out the door.

Oh yeah, Meyer left the program in shambles, and he managed to wreck it in the span of 12 months.

If any of this is true, how could a UF fan look favorably on him?

He is a dirt bag that will do anything to win . That’s what makes him great at being a head coach . Almost all great head coaches are like that .

I never disliked Urban Meyer, even when he left. I know it's naive to buy into it, but even Tebow said that the two of them had begun to get obsessed with winning and that loss to Alabama just blew it all out of the water.

I don't think this is a big deal yet, but I've been with crazy girlfriends for some time so I might be slanted.

He doesn't represent the University of Florida. I carry no adoration nor any ill will for him.

As a human being and not a fan, I find his numerous instances of putting success over even mininal moral decency to be abhorrent.

My wife and son are both Gators. They both hate him and think that he destroyed the culture of UF football from the Spurrier days. I tend to agree with them.
