Our defense will rank statistically BETTER THAN LSU this year.

The actual All-SEC team will look completely different.
Yet people will still argue about this list

Glancing at your projected two-deep this year (same guys right?). There are:
4 RS seniors
1 true senior
1 true junior
1 RS sophomore (basically a junior)
So please, tell me again about how young they were. Over half are seniors
Well, you have guys like Cory Thomas who has been limited in his career by injury. Then you have guys like Montez Sweat, who came from juco, so last year was his first FBS experience. Then you have guys like Simmons, who was a true soph last year. Or Kobe Jones, who was a frosh last year. Or Gerri Green, who was playing out of position. Maybe the better word than "young" was "inexperienced".

I doubt it. If you couldn’t last year when LSU was injured and lacked depth, I don’t know how you will this year.

1st team punter- Mizzou
2nd team punter- Scar
Makes sense. They will both get tons of action

Those same people ranked statistically WORSE THAN LSU last year...
Cool. They have “individual” accolades but played average as a “team”.
I don't know, they looked pretty spectacular against LSU.

So did Troy.

Of course those teams have talented front 7s. Who else can tout two returning first team all SEC defensive linemen? Who can tout returning the league's sack leader? Those aren't preseason rankings, they're postseason accolades from last year.
I'll hang up and listen.
lol When MSU played the 2 good teams from those 3 their defense, line included, looked awful. 31-3 and 49-10 ouch

Are these supposed to be talent evaluations based on previous years or are they trying to predict the post-season all-SEC Team?

MSU allowed fewer yards per carry than LSU last year.
Stop.

Out of curiosity, how do you interpret that? I mean, what does that mean, to you?

Don’t feel so bad, we didn’t have anyone on any of the 3 teams.
You are right though, the post-season will look very different.

In fairness, they look pretty even to me. 3 yards per game difference, and real close in YPC against. MState gave up 2 more TD on the ground, but that is pretty close, too.
You guys both have an argument, but they are razor think arguments.

Which is my point. LSU's D wasnt that good.

From the link you provided:
LSU: Average 3.85 yds/carry
MSU: Average 3.82 yds/carry
How short was the bus you rode to school in?

Rush D is ranked by rush yards given up per game.
Further, MSU gave up more rushing TD's.
Grats on those 1st team Dlinemen that
A) Beat LSU
B) Still Finished behind LSU
C) Had a worse Rush D than LSU
But yea, congrats on .03 ypc better with all your "depth" and "experience".

Uh, the depth and experience is this year, not last year. Last year was the 'inexperience'. And they still held opponents to fewer yds/carry than LSU. Try to keep up. We've got all the same guys coming back; they will be stronger and more experienced. And we're adding two monsters.
I understand y'all are scared. That's okay.

Rivers- 4 star JUCO transfer that had to sit out last year; experts say he's better than Sweat.
Do you have a link for that expert?
Or are you the expert?
Rivers is good. But he is no way in hell comparable to Sweat.

The 'expert' that said it is Marcus Spears. Maybe you've heard of him. (spare me the "Spears doesn't know anything about lineman" rant)
Whether he's right or not hell, I don't know.
But we aren't just making stuff up.
