A first year Arkansas coach went 9-2 in the regular season in 1998 after starting 8-0. I’ll take that again this year.

Interestingly enough, 1998 is also the last year Tennessee won the SEC.

Yes it's been 20 years since Tennessee won the SEC. That's wild to think about.

If we're doing random correlations, why not 1958? And 2008? Also good ###8 years. Which obviously means LSU wins it all this year based on Djokovic winning Wimbledon and grain prices tanking.

Because those years weren’t the last time France won the World Cup? That’s the whole point of the post.

That the year ends in 8 is as meaningless and random as who wins the world cup. And as pointless as the point of the post.

If 1998 were the gauge for measuring our season results we'd be 1-10.

Please point to anything in his post mentioning the year ending in 8. That has nothing to do with it.... Read his post.
