I wouldn’t feel bad about that game y’all lost to the 2003 split champions that year. (LSU has the crystal ball though)

Going into that game, Auburn was preseason #6 and favored to win. USC absolutely skullfricked them at Auburn. It would not have been fun to be an Auburn fan that day on the rant.

Underrated game nominee for Georgia. I'll go with 2000 South Carolina, the day where Quincy Carter didn't even look worthy of being a JV high school QB. The amounts of shite we would have gotten on the rant after that game would have made the national title loss look like child's play. South Carolina was 0-11 the year before and UGA was ranked #10 going into the game.

That’s only half of it.

Jim Fyfe passed away not too long before the game. To commemorate his long time tenure and classic calling of “touchdown Auburn,” the fans in the stadium were led in a new Jim Fyfe “touchdown Auburn!” cheer that we all practiced prior to kickoff. One side of the stadium yelled “touchdown” and the other responded with “Auburn.” Obviously, this cheer was to be performed after each Auburn touchdown in honor of our legendary radio caller.

We didn’t score a touchdown that game.

Or the week after.

One of the rowdiest games in the history of Williams-Brice Stadium. You couldn't hear yourself for most of that game.
