Your first baseman had it. Shaddy completely messed that up. Great player and you hate to have him remembered that way. Again, your 1st baseman had his eye on it and would have caught it, no doubt in my mind. When someone is right there under it, nobody should be rushing in screaming "I got it"

He disruppted your guy who was right there and damn near ran into him. Totally botched.

Even though the second baseman tried to be the hero I still don't see how the right fielder didn't even attempt to catch it...it landed right at his feet but yet he didn't even think about catching it

Yeah agree with this. Still one of the weirdest plays I have ever seen. In baseball aggressive mistakes can happen. Second basemen looked like he was shot out of a cannon and then was like a deer in the headlights when he bumped into the other player. Guess it could have been adrenaline which has to be harnessed in baseball differently than other sports. Feel bad for the Shaddy kid. He is one hell of a ball player.
