Connor Shaw quietly had one of the more impressive careers of any SEC QB.

He also appeared in games in all 4 years of his college career.

It indicates that bowl stats are included, but I like your explanation better. Call it both.

Is there a limit on number of attempts? If not, you're missing Hutson Mason (65% for his career on 434 attempts).

Minimum 700 passing attempts.
NFL QBs don’t even have 700 passing attempts in a full 16 game season.

In Cams one year he had 66% completion %

They threw downfield a lot. That doesn't do any favors for completion percentage
