Surely A&M is hosting a regional, right? They have a top 18 RPI and are smoking hot

Doubt it. We were kind of on the bubble so we will probably not host.

If we win Saturday, that puts us at 40 wins and I would think no worse than 15 in the RPI regardless of results on Sunday. In that case, I think we are 50/50 or perhaps slightly better to host.

Lose Saturday, and I think it's a longshot. LSU not hosting, and the Big XII likely only getting one host might help in that there is kind of a hole to be filled geographically in this region, but without win #40, I think that regular season conference record might keep us out.

Highly doubtful.

The announce hosts before the championship game. At best we can get to 40 wins and and RPI in the low teens and a .500 record vs the top 50 (15-15), possible 16 if Sam moves back into the top 50.

I just don't think they're going to reward a team that was an 11 seed. We needed just one more win during conference play, I think we would have been good enough.

We're not too different from FSU last year. They were sitting at 28 in the RPI with a 12-14 record in the ACC. They went 2-0 vs a very good UL team and ran through the ACC tourney and jumped their RPI up to 16. They were rewarded with a host spot, but they also finished .500 in conference even if they didn't have as many wins or as high of an RPI.
