Favorite 90s TV Shows

Simpsons, South Park, Monday Night Raw (from 97-99), SNL.

We only had 2 TVs in the house, living room and my parent's room. Most of the shows from the 90s that I've seen were reruns in the early afternoon, and I didn't appreciate Seinfeld until I was older anyway. When my folks had control of the TV, I usually just went outside.

So much Nickelodeon.

Xena Warrior Princess.

Yes it was cheesy but the leads were great with the whole are they or are they not subtext (both actresses have said they were). You had the everything that went into the LoTR trilogy behind the scenes with costuming, stunt men, and so on. Hudson Leick as the go to sympathetic bad guy. Cameos from Hercules and Bruce Campbell.

Now... lets go Star Trek.

We had the Next Degradation. Well a lot of folks liked that. We had Deep Space Nine which was solid as frick.

And... Farscape rolled out in 1999.

I'll roll with Farscape, DS9, and Xena for the 90s.

I should have added that. Babylon 5 was very good when it was very good. They made a mistake, maybe their only mistake, in casting the lead for the first seasons but after that it was golden.
