Alabama should have 8-10 drafted.

Also, Purdue is obviously Auburn’s daddy as they are up ten on Auburn.

Geez, no wonder the NFL has historically sucked.

Tennessee led the SEC by quite a bit, IIRC, no less than 10 years ago. But 9 draft picks in 5 years under Butch did them in. Kind of amazing that they are still tied for the lead after the 10+ year run they've had. I want to say they were in the top 5 all-time in draft picks at that time as well. And I don;t see them having more than a few this year either. Unless they improve under Pruitt, LSU, Florida, and Georgia are all going to pass them as well in the next several years. Florida could potentially pass them this year given they're only a few picks behind UT currently.

Any guesstimates on how many LSU will have? Of course we won't catch LSU but could cover some ground. I expect UGA to have roughly between 7 and 9 taken.

I'd be really interested to see the breakdown by rounds for Auburn. In my lifetime at least, it has always seemed that for one reason or another, Auburn has very few middle round draft picks like a lot of other schools have pretty much every single year. Auburn will either have a good number of 1-2 rounds players picked and then a smattering of 6-7. Could all just be my perception, but it seemed odd to me.

Yep. Pretty much feast or famine, and more of the later than the former.

It really was an impressive run by Tennessee but again they are historically the second best SEC team

for sure will be drafted:
Guice
Chark
Clapp
D Jackson
Key
Tolliver
Weathersby
Possibly drafted:
Herron
Gage
LaCouture
Malone
D Williams
So IMO LSU will probably have around the same number as UGA if I had to guess (assuming 7-9 UGA players are drafted)

Also from Pick six:
Most Consecutive Years with 1st Round Pick -- Active Streaks
9 years - Alabama
7 - Texas A&M
5 - Clemson
5 - Florida
3 - Stanford
2 - Miami
2 - Ohio State
2 - Ole Miss
2 - UCLA
Props to A&M as that was surprising. Is the streak going to continue?

I’ll have to research. These lists are just the lists that Picksix pushed to their twitter account.
