Could it be the home games vs uga and Bama that made those teams appear better than the other auburn teams? Magic

True, but the next week they have to play a Mizzu UT, Vandy or UK, instead of LSU, A&M AU or AL. Big difference.

Not if you'really lost for a month or the rest of season.

That really wasn't your original point when you attributed more injuries to players/teams because of
the "grind" of playing in SECW.

Partly, sure, but it's even noticeable within a season. Auburn away from home last year wasn't particularly good. At home, they were fierce.

I have said for years, the SEC is QB driven. When you have a good QB, you have a chance to be a decent team. Here are the QBs at AU since 2013:

2013-Marshall
2014-Marshall
2015-Johnson
2016-White
2017-Stidham
See a correlation ?

In 2014, AU had Marshall, but the D was playing so poorly, that AU had been in a major tailspin after being ranked #3 in the Playoff Poll.

Off course not thru black and red colored SECE glasses. The rest of the world knows the difference.

this is so fricking stupid. A&M has a new coach who runs a completely different offense they're going to fricking suck. Washington isn't as good as half the sec and it's In Atlanta easy dub for auburn. Lsu has proven in recent years they are always tough for auburn and bama is the opposite how can you say that's a guaranteed loss when auburn is one of the few schools who always play bama well. Smfh you're dumb af

Due to that run of 3 mnc of 09-11, The west has had an inflated reputation for years now. Its mainly just been Bama dick riding of the other 6 since then.

2003-LSU
2007-LSU
2009-AL
2010-AU
2011-AL, after beating SECW LSU
2012-AL
2013-AU loses in NC Game
2014-AL loses in first round of Playoff
2015-AL
2016-AL loses in NC Game
2017-AL after AU wins SECW.

Doesn't look inflated to anyone else in the country and two other SECW teams have won NC and have multiple NC appearances.

Are you trying to prove my point? In the Saban era, especially the 2nd half of it, its a whole bunch of AL on this list and very little else.

Do you not count 2013 Where Auburn lost the Natty in the final seconds? That was a pretty good team and to be honest out played FSU in that game

2013 Auburn may have had a miracle catch and a lifetime play but that was a very good football team that was almost impossible to stop on offense

I do count that AU team. The rare inclusion of a team not named bama is why I added in the word "mainly"

I see two other teams prominently listed since 2003. But UGA fans only think in terms of 1 year or a fading memory of 38 years ago.

2010 and before that it was 60 years. But, yeah. Georgia fans think of 38 years ago.

SIXTY YEARS!

2003/2007 is a whole different era, which makes it irrelevant to my point, not to mention UGA 2002 and 2007 were just as good as those 2 LSU teams, and both schools have fired the coaches responsible for those teams.

What it shows is the cumulative effect of an SECW schedule, and how it would cause more injuries and force the team to open the playbook.

And yet we played the toughest schedule in the SEC outside of Auburn.

So, again...it doesn't make your point. Look. Auburn had no depth and it cost you. Your coach ran your best RB in the ground, and then when he couldn't go anymore ran your second best RB in the ground. He ran them 25-30 times a game until they couldn't go anymore.

Sooner or later Auburn fans will simply have to face the fact that Georgia won the SEC and stop crying about schedule, injuries, referees, thUGA. etc etc etc. But that is the only thing that can make you feel better. You got whipped by a better team and a better coach. We are on the upswing and you signed a coach that averages 5 losses a year since 2013 to a long term contract. You lost 4 of your 5 starting OLinemen and signed two OLinemen to replace them. Things are looking bleak on the Plains.

What???Which fan base brings up 38 years ago/1980 ad nauseam?

If I never saw either of those 2 terms on this board again it wouldnt be soon enough.
