I love when people imply we are paying players as if it is a bad thing. We had to wait through 15 years of Richt not paying anyone...we need to make up for lost time.
There needs to be a new name for this - you give a Cootieship to get to a specific player. What do you call a scholarship given to get access to a school's future pipeline as well? Hard to hate the move by Auburn.

If Kirby was Smart, then he probably has a whole shelf full of notes during the Cam Newton saga and how to pay players without getting sanctioned by the NCAA - and from the recent NCAA issues faced by all the schools in basketball, it appears the NCAA doesn't really give a shite anyways. Edit: just realized I created a pun, but didn't intend it.
