What’s your take on that guy who has all of his clubs the same length? I’m 6’5 and have always struggled with shorter clubs....but when I’ve been fit I end up with +2s and it’s like swinging a tree trunk for longer irons.
I have a old set of I2s and was thinking of fitting them all with an 8 or 7 length shaft. I’m sure it would screw with the distances but it’d be interesting to see if they were easier to hit.

I've never hit with one-length irons or seen anyone use them, but originally I thought the idea was pretty interesting. I could definitely see the benefit of only having one ball position, stance width etc, but I bet you're right that you lose distance.
I am sure you can find a demo set at a shop or course somewhere and try it out. But it also may be a matter of ball position and distance from the ball with your lower irons.
