In 2007 Alabama did have a neutral site game, however it was not a season opener. Bama played Florida State in Jacksonville, FL the 5th game of the season and lost to the Seminoles 14-21.

This is the only non opener neutral site game during the Saban era and his only neutral site regular season loss at Alabama. It is also important to remember that the game was supposedly in 2007 and there is serious debate whether that year really ever happened.

Fun fact per 3down10:

Florida State was forced to vacate our one neutral site regular season loss due to NCAA violations. However, if we had won we would have been required to vacate the win as well. As I stated earlier there is continued debate as to if 2007 ever happened.
