How many fouls is he averaging? That 25.8mpg needs to be about 35.8

I want him playing more if he's not in foul trouble.

Go all in, he's 18-19, he can play 30 minutes.

:kige: I want to see us bully Butler down low.

Also a heavy mix of Bailey and Hall to defend the 3. Less CJ for this game. Don't want to see more than 2 of Beard/Macon/Barford on the court at the same time.

He gets super lost on D.

Gives effort and has good length, lateral quickness, he just can't handle the ball movement.

That's coaching. The kid has raw athleticism.

He's only a freshman dude. An extremely unheralded one at that.

Not many guys are lock down defenders after 1 year of college coaching.

Not even the great Chris Beard could likely do that. Don't be ridiculous.

If he's the same in 2-3 years, yea, its a problem.

Eh, my point still stands.

Our guys do have trouble confusing effort with positioning and overall defensive effectiveness but that is inexperience.

He hasn't played all that much. In all honesty, Macon can be just as bad.

That's a pretty bad sign for such a senior-laden team, no?

Macon is one of the culprits for going for a steal far from the hoop and putting the rest of his defense in a pickle. And MAN we struggle to get around screens (or setting them for that matter).

Common disclaimer: I do not think MA should be fired for these weaknesses.

It's like they are wearing these, somehow, sometimes:
